    Reusability

    At Straws-Berry , our straws are designed from the outset to be reusable at least 20 times . Rather than offering a simple disposable product, we have chosen to offer a sustainable, tested and guaranteed solution.

    Certified by French laboratories

    Our French plant fiber straws have undergone comprehensive testing in the largest French laboratories :

    • Mechanical resistance test : repeated folding, compression and twisting to ensure resistance without cracking or deformation over at least 20 uses.
    • 90°C Dishwasher Test : Immersion in intense thermal and mechanical cycles to validate that they retain their shape and integrity up to 90°C.
    • Non-migration control : verification that the fibers do not release any unwanted substances, even after several washes at high temperatures.

    These certified results allow us to assure our customers of reliable reuse, without compromising on resistance or health safety.

    Steps for hand washing 🧽 🖐

    To extend the life of your Straws-Berry straws, here are the steps to follow for hand washing:

    1. Rinse with warm water immediately after use to remove residue and particles.
    2. Use a small dedicated brush (bottle brush) , softer than metal brushes, with a mild food detergent.
    3. Rub the inside of the straw from top to bottom using a rotating motion, then rinse with clean water.
    4. Allow to air dry on a draining board, positioned vertically, before storing in a clean container.

    Following these steps will ensure that the straw remains hygienic and retains its original shape, but we still recommend washing in the dishwasher.

    Steps for washing in the dishwasher 🧽💦

    To save time and simplify maintenance, our straws are tested to withstand dishwasher cycles up to 90°C:

    1. Place straws upright in the top rack of the dishwasher or in the cutlery holder.
    2. Choose an intensive or high temperature program (max. 90°C), without using abrasive products or bleach.

    Thanks to these validated tests, your straws can be put back in the dishwasher while retaining their original appearance and strength at least twenty times.
