"Eco-friendly" straws imported from Asia at rock-bottom prices are popping up everywhere. At Straws-berry, we made the opposite choice: designing and manufacturing in France a straw made from French plant fibres, traceable from harvest to your venue. A French formulation, patented and lab-developed

Our straw is the result of over two years of R&D and 3 registered patents. Its formulation, based on French bio-sourced plant materials, gives it what no alternative truly offers: it never goes soggy (from -20°C to +90°C), never falls apart, and stays soft on the lips. Zero taste, zero odour — validated by sensory testing in a French laboratory.

Full traceability and certifications

We control the entire chain, from sourcing to manufacturing. Our straws are produced to ISO 9001 standards, with complete traceability, and certified NF EN 12875-1: they withstand 20 dishwasher cycles at 90°C without cracking or warping. All our processes comply with current food-safety and hygiene standards.

A French project with social and environmental impact

For us, Made in France is not just a selling point: it's a commitment. We work with a Paris-based sheltered workshop (ESAT) and its 80 workers with disabilities for packaging, supporting professional inclusion. And by producing locally, in a short supply chain, we boast one of the lowest carbon footprints on the market.
