Renewable
Sugar cane is an annual crop, allowing continuous and sustainable production of the raw material. By applying this resource, we participate in the preservation of natural ecosystems and avoid the overexploitation of natural resources.
Durability and resistance
Sugar cane fiber offers excellent strength and durability, making it an ideal material for our Straws-berry straw. It does not deform easily and maintains its shape and functionality even in the presence of hot liquids.
Reduction of agricultural waste
Sugar cane production will generate stem residue after sugar extraction. Instead of considering them as waste, we transformed these residues into a valuable resource to make our Straws-berry straw. This circular approach aims to reduce our footprint on the planet.

By opting for sugar cane fiber, we were able to meet our customers' growing needs for quality, while making a significant contribution to the reduction of persistent waste.

Depuis la création de Straws-Berry, nous sommes convaincus qu’un projet responsable passe avant tout par la valorisation de l’humain. C’est pourquoi nous avons noué un partenariat solide avec un ESAT (Établissement et Service d’Aide par le Travail) situé en région parisienne, dans lequel travaillent 80 personnes en situation de handicap, chacune ayant un profil et des compétences différentes. Ensemble, nous faisons de l’inclusion une force : chaque membre de l’équipe ESAT apporte son savoir-faire, sa motivation, et participe pleinement à la réussite de notre production.
Favoriser l’inclusion et l’autonomie
Chez Straws-Berry, nous ne considérons pas l’emploi en ESAT comme un simple sous-traitance : c’est avant tout un engagement humain. Chaque jour, nous veillons à ce que les conditions de travail soient adaptées et stimulantes :
- Formation et montée en compétences : nos responsables d'ateliers accompagnent les salariés ESAT pour qu’ils développent leur dextérité et leur autonomie.
- Valeur du collectif : ce partenariat nous a permis d'enrichir notre culture d’entreprise d’une solidarité réelle et d’un véritable esprit d’équipe.
- Respect des rythmes et des besoins spécifiques : horaires aménagés, postes ergonomiques et outils adaptés permettent à chacun d’évoluer dans un environnement sûr et bienveillant.
